Today ended a week-long visit of my two granddaughters and their mom (#1 daughter) and dad. While the parents packed the car (of mostly preschool paraphernalia), I had the opportunity to meander around the yard with the 15-month old granddaughter, examining flowers and crab apple tree fruit. Some final “carefree” moments before getting back into our normal routine.http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/08/16/photo-challenge-carefree/

Thanks, Becky…the best part of being a grandfather is when that little hand holds yours.

I couldn’t agree with you more! I just love those little hands in mine. Makes me want to hold on to them forever and never let go. This grand parenting thing is pretty special! 🙂 It’s just full of special moments!

Perfect shot for the theme…a child’s gentle wonder is carefree, indeed!

Thanks, Muse! Indeed, many of the interpretations of “carefree” have been of children…we have a lot to learn from them.
